I remember totally loving this book! Your lovely reviews always bring back memories of books that I had adored but forgotten about (until now!). Maybe I should read them again, they’re so brilliant
I read this book roughly one billion times. The parts that stick out in my brain:
1. Making herself look ugly in front of a suitor while they ate
2. Making up new curse phrases using God
3. Each day being a Saint’s day
Now off to read your recap of it to see what else I remember!
You should know that I assumed you loved this book. I could picture Young Catherine reading it.
