Can you believe it’s time for Wednesday links again already? I, for one, cannot. I know you all just organize your lives around when I post Wednesday links, so I’m sure you agree. Anyway, I’ve had a full week. H. and I registered for wedding gifts and I learned how much forks cost (a lot!). I went to Yellow Springs for my friend Christine’s birthday lunch (I did not see Dave Chapelle). And I watched the Golden Globes because of course I did. Without further ado, let’s get on with the links!
I am in LOVE with this xoJane piece about Lena Dunham. A favorite quote: “And it’s all about our response, as the audience — as if the only possible reason a woman would show her body was because she expects praise for it, and not because it functions in the service of a story she is acting in, or simply because she individually likes the way she looks without pants.”
Guys, Smart Girls at the Party tweeted about my blog post last week and I just about died from happiness.
Speaking of Smart Girls…this Ask Amy on negativity is GREAT.
More about me and Twitter: Summer featured me on Re-Tweet Tuesday. How nice!
Jordan wrote about smells, but not, like, bad smells. Things you actually want to smell.
So You’ve Run Into Someone from High School by Anne T. Donahue
How to write good professional thank you notes. Helpful!
This week on HelloGiggles, I wrote about the inappropriate books I read as a child. There was a lot of Tim Allen involved, and some romance novels, too.
UGH THIS PILLOW I CAN’T EVEN HANDLE IT.

Thanks for the mention, Kerry! That pillow is going to haunt my dream though!
Congrats on the tweet! The Lena Dunham article is fantastic
As were the Golden Globes
