Amy Sherman-Palladino, I Love You (And Your Hat)

I’ve been thinking about Bunheads a lot, but I haven’t watched it yet. I even had to ask my boyfriend to DVR it for me.

Me: I need you to record something for me.
H: Okay, what is it?
Me (whispering): Bunheads.
H: What?
Me (still whispering): Bunheads.
H: Buttheads?
Me: BUNHEADS!

Anyway, obviously it would be better for everybody if there was more diversity on television. But can we all agree that it’s bonkers that the only time people complain about the lack of diversity on a show is when the show’s creator/writer is a woman? As usual, men only have to represent themselves, while women have to represent all women. That being said, you may remember that I once complained about the lack of diversity on Gilmore Girls, but Bunheads just started. Give it some time. Hopefully it won’t also feature a ton of drunk driving or terrible extras.

None of this is even remotely my point, though. My point is Amy Sherman-Palladino is BACK, and she’s bringin’ the hats with her!
